I am an experienced clinical psychologist who is dedicated to helping families cope and live life to their fullest.
Jennie Fincher, Ph.D., LPC-S, has a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology earned in 2012 at the University of North Texas. She is a licensed psychologist and a licensed professional counselor. She is also licensed as an LPC supervisor. Her areas of special training and expertise include diagnosing and treating mental illness, such as depression and anxiety. She specializes in treating adolescents and families with various issues, such as anger, behavior problems, and relational difficulties.
Dr. Fincher’s approach to treatment is to aid clients in setting goals and learning skills to achieve those goals through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Given her nearly 12 years of experience in the counseling field, Dr. Fincher is comfortable utilizing an eclectic approach to treatment, based on the individual needs of the client. She works with individuals, couples, and families on a wide variety of issues. Dr. Fincher enjoys assisting couples in understanding and resolving differences, improving their relationships, and building solid foundations prior to marriage. Also, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor, with years of experience supervising LPC interns and preparing them for licensure.
Dr. Jennie Fincher is authorized to practice under PSYPACT and can offer teletherapy services in the following participating states: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
