About me
LCSW focusing on meeting client's where they are at and getting them to where they want to be.
I am a Colorado Native. I have been a social worker for 10 years and I love helping people. I would say my behavioral health approach is solution-focused and goal oriented. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma and family relationships. I am here to help process and talk through the past and whatever obstacles might be in the way of getting you to where you want to be. I am a support and help guide you to obtaining your goals. I am a firm believer in how our thoughts effect our daily outcomes and will encourage positivity and optimism using numerous therapy techniques and approaches.
I specialize in using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT, and interpersonal therapy (IPT). I try to make the approach I use specific to the individual and the problems they are facing.
A quote I like to remember is this : "it's easy to spot a yellow car when you are always thinking of a yellow car, it's easy to spot an opportunity when you are always thinking of opportunities, it is easy to find reasons to be mad when you are always thinking about being mad. We become what we constantly think about."
