I am a therapist who is passionate about helping others recognize their potential as well as guiding them through tough times. I believe the circumstances of our past certainly impact who we are today. I feel strongly however, that looking forward, seeking growth through vulnerability and hard work can lead to a more desirable life. You are worth it! Life can be really hard. Do you feel like you give to all those around you, yet it's never quite enough? Do you struggle in your relationships, have a hard time coping with everyday life, or generally feel in a funk? Through therapy, it is my hope that you will discover your strengths, learn healthy coping skills, and lead a more fulfilling life. You deserve it!
My therapeutic approach includes reality based, cognitive behavioral , and client centered therapy, tailored to meet he needs of each individual client. Working with clients to find balance and a better way of coping with life stressors is a rewarding part of what I do. I believe in every situation we have a choice. I work with clients to explore those choices, and determine which is best for them! It's easy to feel stuck at times. Through counseling I feel there is an incredible opportunity for growth and look forward to helping you do just that! I have experience as a mental health professional in an elementary school, as well as in private practice working with adults that struggle with a depression, anxiety, coping with life stressors, and relationships issues, to name a few.
