I am passionate about joining with people where they are at in life, exploring thoughts and emotions, and helping people use their strengths to reach their full potential. I have experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds and with a variety of diagnoses in several settings, such as at a community outpatient clinic, a private clinic, in a crisis center, and facilitating online therapy. I use many evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness.
My therapy interests are depression, anxiety, trauma (big or small), relationship issues, pregnancy/childbirth/postpartum, parenting, grief, and mindfulness. I am dedicated, caring, friendly, and like humor and fun in session when appropriate; your comfort in a therapy session is the most important thing to me.
In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, music, spending time with my family, watching The Office, and drinking lots of coffee!
