I have an advanced degree in Forensics Psychology and have been working with human behavior for 15+ years in various capacities. I specialize in relapse and recidivism prevention; and am qualified to assist with teens and adults struggling to find their place and cope with the stressors of life.

I am Clinical Director of DePriest Center in Middle TN. Here we have a wide variety of therapists equipped to deal with substance abuse, mental health and trauma of all ages, with the gold-standard of care utilizing evidence-based practices; and are in-network with most major insurances and Medicaid/TN Care policies.
I am certified with the International Board of Therapists; and I approach situations with an holistic modality that helps to interconnect the whole person (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual). We cannot expect to solve our problems in the same state of mind in which we created them; and within each of us are the solutions needed to confront the challenges we face, we just need help unearthing these answers and empowering ourselves for today. By taking life one day at a time, one moment at a time, one event at a time, we can learn to be a better person today than we were yesterday.
I am currently advancing towards Tier II license for substance abuse counseling, certified in Qi gong, Ecotherapy; skilled & trained in emotional regulation, cognitive restructuring, and Polyvagal education, along with a plethora of work experience with diverse populations within a diversity of settings (from inpatient to outpatient; groups and one-on-ones). All of our paths are different and each treatment must be customized to meet the individual (taking into consideration the whole person, with all of their experiences, exposures and influences throughout life).
