Jeff Bennett, PhD, LPC
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I work with people suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma related illnesses, personality disorders, and relationship distress. I see adults and adolescents as well as couples and I offer both in-person and online appointments.
I believe that most of us are doing the very best we can to cope with the problems of living. However, sometimes those problems feel overwhelming. And sometimes the strategies we have evolved to deal with painful feelings linked to dysfunctional relationships, abandonment and loss, past traumas, and other life difficulties, don't serve us very well. My goal as a therapist is to get to know each person I work with deeply and to partner with them to help them learn to live more free, full, and meaningful lives. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people to talk about themselves and their concerns, and for them to work through the issues they need to address. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations and I am trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I offer a free consultation (in-person or online) for anyone interested in pursuing therapy with me, and I always encourage people to interview as many therapists as it takes to find a person they feel they connect with. Connection and trust are extremely important. If you would like to talk, please don't hesitate to contact me. We all need help sometimes.
