About me
We all go through transitions and different waves in our life but ultimately we all want to live a genuine authentic life. We have the capacity to obtain it but how to navigate it, is the challenge. I have been practicing in New York City since 2015. Giving guidance to those who want to take the path to make changes and implement strategies to handle conflicts, transitions and issues which create barriers to their own happiness.
Jeanie is accepting new clients. Potential clients need to have a free video consultation prior to scheduling a session. I do not have Hospital Privileges. I do not prescribe medications. I do not work with any programs. Currently, all sessions are Tele-therapy (video) sessions, weekly for 45 to 60 minutes.
It can be daunting to start therapy and be vulnerable with a stranger. I provide the space for you to work at your own comfort, pace and autonomy. I provide talk therapy that is reflective, explorative with compassion. Treatment goals are a collaborative effort. My focus is on anxiety, depression, grief, life phases/transitions, career issues/changes, family conflicts, and relational issues/changes. I work from a psychodynamic approach and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), humanistic approach, attachment theory, Family/Marital Therapy that is holistic, person-centered to bring forth your unique strengths.
