My experience also includes working with families and children, adolescents and special education students in K-12 schools. Experienced and trained in Telemental Health and virtual education as an adjunct University Instructor and Spanish Teacher, working with clients and students online is a very natural process.
Integrative counseling is the therapeutic approach of my work with a solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral foundation incorporating mindfulness strategies and techniques. Anxiety disorders, stress management, depression, anger management and emotional regulation, self-esteem, adjustment disorders/ coping with change along with family and parenting concerns are my counseling specialties. Having traveled. studied and lived in the U.S. Mexico, and Europe, speaking other languages, I am a culturally- aware and sensitive individual full of empathy and respect for all people. As a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), simple yoga and breathing techniques can be incorporated into one’s life as a part of the healing process.
