About me
Certified DBT Therapist working with Tweens to Adults
I am therapeutic, but to the point. I work with my clients to understand their strengths, as well as to learn to modify their behaviors and thought processes to obtain more effective and desired outcomes.
I have worked in the community mental health field for more than 10 years. I specialize in providing services to adults and adolescents with co-occurring and psychiatric disorders, including but not limited to personality, anxiety, mood, eating, trauma, and psychotic disorders. I also specialize in working with first responders and veterans.
I hold undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Health Sciences from Maryland colleges, and later earned a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Maryland.
I have post-master’s degree training in the following though it is not an exhaustive list. If you have questions, please ask:
Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Trauma Informed Care
Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
Crisis Situation Intervention
