I am a bilingual, bicultural member of the LGBT community who uses experience and knowledge of intersectionality to offer care that acknowledges systems that are outside of our power.
I have a background in Social Work and recognize the influence of our society and situations around us that influence our wellbeing. I approach things by noting the mind-body connection for care that is holistic.
I am not someone who can tell you what to do or how to “fix” your life, but I am a guide who can support you and provide resources to explore methods and paths to reach the place we want to be. That starts with centering where we are, and glimpsing at our past and current situations that we feel weigh us down.
Most of my work takes a somatic approach, where some of our life experiences cannot be verbalized or described in traditional talk therapy.
I am trained in EMDR and am a RYT-200, and use elements of meditation and mindfulness in session.
