Hello! I am accepting new clients. I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with more than 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I utilize a strengths-based and client-centered approach and will work collaboratively with you toward your growth, healing and goals.

Over the last 16 years I have worked in private practice, community based mental health and in the juvenile court system. My therapeutic approach focuses on creating a safe and nonjudgemental environment and building a trusting relationship with my clients. I tailor my work to my clients' goals and concerns and use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness. I view my clients holistically and often include discussions about nutrition, exercise, sleep, and spirituality in my practice. I provide individual and couples therapy and my speciality is working with adolescents and adults. My passion is in helping my clients improve their quality of life and actualize their goals. I have extensive experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, addictions, anger management, mood disorders, trauma, relationship issues and adjusting to life changes.

I obtained my Masters in Social Work at Boston College, a Master in Arts at Stanford University and my Bachelors of Art at Princeton University. I also have a certificate in CBT and a certificate in group therapy. Prior to becoming a social worker and therapist I was a high school teacher for 6 years.
