Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a therapist and parent coach with 15 years of experience working with people who have lived through stressful experiences, trauma or are struggling with attachment wounds.
You long to connect with, understand and support your family, friends, or children. You know there’s a better way but in moments of stress you find yourself yelling, lecturing and scolding your kids, ranting at your partner or just completely disconnecting. You’ve read all the books and blogs, and have even listened to advice from family and friends and yet you’re still struggling, you feel exhausted and are desperate for something else for you and your family.
Let’s get real, sometimes you feel TRIGGERED by life (I get it, I sometimes do too) How many times have you found yourself saying the thing that you told yourself you’d never say to your family or kids, maybe the thing your parents said to you? Our past can play itself out over and over again, often without us even realizing it, especially when we are stretched to our limits.
Your most important relationships are the mirrors that reflect our wounds that are yet to be healed.
Maybe you’ve felt like you need to deal with it on your own or have thought your past isn’t part of the problem. Maybe you’ve even told yourself “it doesn’t matter, other people have been through worse stuff.” Yet you can’t shake the feeling that something’s off and that stressful experiences you’ve been through could be at the root of it. Perhaps you don’t even have words to describe what you’ve experienced- just a felt sense that you’ve never been good enough no matter how hard you try. That’s okay, you’re not alone. I can help you break through that stuck feeling.
Therapy and coaching with me isn’t about sitting on the couch and talking about the same problems over and over. If you’re ready for a therapist or coach who probably won’t ask “how does that make you feel” but does has a plan and will roll up their sleeves and get to work on helping you move forward from day one then you’ve come to the right place! Together we'll work to help you move past the pain using therapy interventions that are proven to help people learn how to cope and and move past traumas, adverse life experiences and attachment wounds.
Every session I will be prepared to take concrete steps to help you get closer to your goals. I am passionate about empowering people with the knowledge and tools that get them to where they want to be. I want you to understand why our brains respond to adversity in ways that seem to make no sense and how to harness the power of our minds to recover from those events.
Healing can be a difficult journey and its easy to get stuck. If roadblocks have gotten in your way I’ll be your GPS- keeping your path clear and accessible as you uncover what you need to be able to flourish and thrive!
Located in the Security Building in downtown Olympia, my office offers a safe, calming space for you to unload and unwind. All high touch surfaces are disinfected between sessions. If you are feeling unwell or you prefer to meet in the comfort of your own space that is always an option too!
For those interested in parent coaching; I am dedicated to creating a safe space, and am mindful that families come in all shapes and sizes. Parents of any type are welcome; including parents of adult children, single parents, LGBTQ+ parents, step-parents, foster/adoptive parents. Even people who plan to become parents and want to get a head start!
