I am an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is dedicated to helping adults work through anxiety, depression, and (large and small) trauma. I also work to help men and women overcome addictions to pornography and other internet/gaming addictions.
Jake's professional background includes working at several community based mental health clinics as well as providing in-home therapeutic services. He enjoys working with individuals and groups and treats many issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, spiritual, men's issues, confidence, boundaries, and self-esteem. Jake also works with men and women dealing with sexual compulsions including addictions to pornography and masturbation.
Jake is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Clients have found it extremely helpful in recovering from both big and small trauma, depression, anxiety, low self confidence and self-esteem, negative thinking, among other issues.
