About me

I am a versatile therapist who combines office therapy with Equine Assisted Therapy to provide services to adolescents and adults experiencing mental health issues.

Hi! My name is Jacque and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Colorado Springs, CO. I have worked with a variety of clients and settings providing mental health services field since 2010. As a military spouse, I have lived in many states, regions of the country, and different types of communities. I enjoy time outdoors on the prairie, at beaches, or in the mountains. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and my graduate education at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. I happily moved to Colorado Springs in 2019 to get back to the mountains.

I know this is hard for you. Asking for help is uncomfortable, can be overwhelming, and scary. If this is your first time in therapy or your tenth time, you are welcome here. It is my goal as a therapist to provide a safe space, compassion, and empathy as we work on building skills to create a healthy balanced life. If you have tried therapy before and did not achieve the goals you wanted too or if you know that sitting in an office every session for an hour a week will not work for you please consider trying therapy with me. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients including adolescents and adults. I have experience working with clients who have attention deficit disorder, are on the spectrum, have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, co-occurring disorders, complex trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, and personality disorders. I can help you with military life stress, parental stress, relationship issues, self-esteem, and boundary issues.

In my practice, I utilize several modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), solution focused and strength-based approaches. I combine these techniques into work with horses to incorporate movement into therapy. I also provide walk and talk therapy sessions to assist with comfort and bilateral processing. If you are interested in learning more about the modalities listed above, we can talk about what they are and the goals/skills of each type of therapy.

I invite you to contact me to start the process of healing, building resiliency and creating wellness.
