I see therapy as a non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to express themselves freely. I provide a laid-back approach to help clients feel at ease. Therapy is provided to children from the ages of 5 to 18, and adults. I also provide couple's therapy and family therapy. I have experience with anger management, ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, self-harm, and other disorders. I also have experience with those that may have learning disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy from Governors State University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been a therapist since 2017.
I work with kids, couples, families, and individuals of all ages. I have experience with kids that have Autism and learning disabilities. I work with clients experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, infidelity, ADD/ADHD, suicidal thoughts, schizoaffective disorder, adjustment disorders, and more.
I utilize several different techniques including: play therapy techniques, psychodynamic therapy, structural family therapy, solution-focused, Gottman techniques, and person-centered therapy.
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am also working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist and has completed Phase 1 of that process.
