About me
I am an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) with over 10 years of experience in helping those in crisis as well as those who love someone experiencing a difficult situation. I specialize in grief and loss and am empathetic towards and versed in the ways the death of a loved one can affect our lives. I have also worked with people who live with depression and anxiety everyday and can assist with coping and new perspectives. We all experience pain from different life events, but I believe we can achieve a sense of peace and perspective through expressing and exploring our emotions.
As a therapist, I am here to walk alongside you during your journey to wellness. It can be difficult to be open and vulnerable with someone new but I hold our sessions like conversations, calm, also flexible to what you need in that moment. I use a combination of strength-based and narrative approaches to help bring new perspectives to understanding our feelings and emotions.
Everyone experiences life difficulties or situations that cause a range of emotions. Therapy is another tool available to help us cope with all that life brings about.
