About me
I am a Bilingual Mental health therapist with more than 10 years of experience providing services in English and Spanish in Sunnyvale, CA. Currently I am offering in-person therapy, online therapy, and community based therapy.
As a psychotherapist, I am passionate about impacting my client’s life with making positive changes. I like to help my clients reach what I called “living paradise”. A place that includes love, happiness, fun, life purpose, meaningful friendships, and financial stability. I believe that all humans have the superpower of choice and together we can choose to create more joy in your life. I am compassionate, knowledgeable, and honoring of my clients’ unique experiences. I work with individuals of all ages to help them identify strengths and needs that can help them reach their “living paradise”.
The propose of my work with clients is to resolve past and present challenges, to identify and eliminate what is not working, and to concentrate on utilizing new possibilities.
I have a Master’s degree in counseling psychology and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). LMFT’s have the education and training to provide therapeutic services to adults, children, teenagers, couples, and families. I have clinical experience working with both youth and adults. Working with youth requires more creativity and talent and I feel gifted for being able to connect emotionally with young ones. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy).
I have extensive experience working with severe mental illness in both children and adults and working with families to create the ideal environment to overcome their challenges. My experience includes both inpatient and outpatient treatment. I have a substantial background working with anxiety, complex trauma, depression, family issues, autism, challenging behaviors, divorce, and relational problems.
Message:
My passion is to support others in finding their inner strength and begin the healing process. I strongly believe that all life experiences shape who we are and give us a unique identity. The meaning of life is unique for each person and I focus on guiding clients to discover their full potential and overcome current and long-term struggles.
Personal Interests:
I love nature and to be surrounded by trees, water, and animals. I am a certified scuba diver and enjoy exploring the ocean world. I also enjoy traveling and getting to know other countries and learning about different cultures, beliefs, traditions, and history. I also love to spend time with family and friends.
