I am a mental health clinician that supports women in addressing concerns about motherhood, parenting, relationships, and mood disorders, and children in addressing emotional regulation, social skill development, managing relationships, ADHD and other behavioral disorders.

If you are looking for someone to encourage you, hold you accountable, and work collaboratively towards building a life where you can thrive, you've come to the right place.

I am a mental health clinician that supports women and children when overcoming various life roadblocks and challenges. When supporting women, I specialize in helping perinatal populations address concerns about motherhood, parenting, relationships, and mood disorders. When supporting children, I specialize in addressing emotional regulation, social skill development, and managing relationships. The bulk of my expertise covers youth diagnosed with ADHD and behavioral disorders.

Who am I? A Black, Christian, cisgendered woman from the South Side of Chicago, who relates as a daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, and servant. Growing up, in my family, we didn't discuss mental health and there weren't many conversations that directly addressed understanding and processing our emotions. Often this left me confused on how to process my emotions, causing me to turn to the wrong people or things to suppress my emotions instead of really working through how I was feeling. After college, I learned about various resources and skills that led me to want to learn more about mental health and holistic wellness. I began to explore how interconnected all aspects of our well-being can be and the value of focusing on our mental wellness as a key starting place. And now that I have started my own family, I ensure that mental wellness is a priority in our household.

My services are based in the Chicagoland area and the techniques I use focus most on being present with one's situations, developing skills to manage emotions, improve relationship with self and others, and utilize one's values to work towards a life you want to live. I want to work with you to make sustainable change in your life. I have extensive training and life experiences that make me capable of supporting you. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own life–often they are just lacking clarity, skills, and language to get them on the right track. My practice revolves primarily around Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy principles. These principles guide me now and I think they are very helpful in creating the desired change in our lives.
