I am a licensed professional counselor and licensed minister, with diverse involvement in the mental health field for 25 years. I am an experienced counselor, life coach, trainer, and workshop presenter. My sincere desire is to help people discover clarity of mind, hope that anchors, and truth that brings lasting freedom.

TruthWorks Christian Counseling is an organization with ministry at its very heart, providing a variety of services (Counseling, Life Coaching, Consulting, and Seminars & Training) aimed at helping people discover lasting freedom and a transformed life. These services are presented through the lens of Scripture, empowering individuals to confidently pursue their God-given calling by applying the truth of God’s Word in daily life, relationships, workplace, church, and ministry. Whether your journey is for healing, growth or serving with excellence, you will be empowered to discover and apply practical solutions, as well as address your concerns of the past, present, and future.
I have discovered that much of what research and psychological studies show, has been in Scripture all along. My approaches are professional, tried-and-true, and grounded in Biblical truth. I spend time focusing on thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives, and then line them up with the Bible using practical counseling methods that are sound, healthy, and productive. We cultivate a solid ground for true life change to happen through renewing your thoughts and beliefs, thereby impacting how you feel and what you choose to do. This establishes a solid foundation for continual growth.

Counseling and Life Coaching services teach new patterns of living and relating — lining up with God’s Word and purpose for your life. Since living out God’s purpose comes with its challenges, we sort through these challenges together and seek how God’s Word speaks to your life. You will learn how to live through the wisdom and power of Christ within you as a believer, and as result, you will see changes in your thoughts, emotions, and choices.
Counseling is primarily for healing and restoration, by revisiting and resolving areas of suffering, trauma, wounding, confusion, betrayal, and regret. Then, practice and embrace renewal of thinking and beliefs that are in step with the Word of God in order to experience freedom, peace, and contentment.
Life Coaching concentrates on growth and discovery, by addressing barriers and moving forward in an intentional and confident path, more fully realizing your calling and God-given purposes for your life.
Consulting, Training and Seminar services provide information, practical tools, and individualized support for minsters and church staff, ministries, and faith-based organizations, in areas of mental health and current trends, pastoral/ministry stressors, and staff equipping and encouragement.
