About me
am a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker & Licensed Master Addiction Counselor, with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I received my Level I & Level II EMDR trauma treatment training through the EMDR Institute, & have been practicing EMDR since 2012. I am a member of the professional association EMDR Therapists of Greater Kansas City. I am trained in Brainspotting as an additional treatment for trauma-related issues. I also hold professional certifications in Trauma Treatment (CCTP) & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT).
My therapy practice, Dahlia Trauma & Wellness Center, LLC, focuses on treating adults with complex trauma-related stressors/PTSD, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, addiction, and attachment issues. I also provide LSCSW clinical supervision, MSW practicum field instruction, & clinical consultation.
