About me
I earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also a National Certified Counselor. I have primarily worked with high school students, young adults, and adults. I have helped students/individuals deal with trauma, transitions, emotional adjustment issues, cultural-adjustment issues, family concerns, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, and career issues.
I believe everyone deserves somebody to talk to who can provide full attention, empathy, and genuine interest. I am called to walk alongside my client’s life journey. My work is to provide a safe space where my clients can be vulnerable, find their strengths, and receive the help or support that they need in the ups and downs of their life journey. Counseling/therapy is a journey and a process. I am a trauma-informed clinician, and I am committed to being culturally sensitive in my work. My hope is anyone who steps into my office will feel they have someone with whom they can share their struggles and celebrates in their joyful moments.
