About me
I'm passionate about working with marginalized and underserved communities where mental health is stigmatized and overlooked. I believe in the importance and need for intercultural awareness and am LGBTQIA+ affirming. My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and with a large focus on learning and understanding the intersections of each of my clients identities and lived experiences.
Seeking out therapy can be extremely intimidating. I get it. There are probably a million questions that you have rushing through your mind. Is it worth it? Will this even work? Am I just wasting my time? If therapy has crossed your mind, there’s a reason for it. If something in your life is bogging you down and creating stress and anxiety, then let us get that off your chest.
Therapy to me is creating a safe yet brave space for you to speak about your concerns. Each session is dedicated to your needs. We will work collaboratively to identify goals you would like to prioritize and the skills that can lead you to overcoming these challenges.
