Welcome, I'm so glad you are here! My name is Grace de Souza and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Louisiana. I offer individual and family therapy to support clients through life changes, relational issues, traumas, losses and overwhelming emotions. I work collaboratively with individuals and families to identify current needs and create treatment goals. I conceptualize issues from a systemic approach, utilizing evidence based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I work with clients to identify values and beliefs that no longer serve them and contribute to feelings of anxiety, shame, helplessness, unworthiness, and hopelessness. In deconstructing these values and beliefs, I support individuals towards a more authentic, connected, and balanced sense of self.
