I am a credentialed, licensed, experience psychotherapist that sensitively work with persons to restore wholeness and integrity to their sense of self.

I work with couples, individuals, and families. I specialized in marriage and family issues, midlife transitions, trauma work, suicide related issues, and individual ego supportive and insight oriented psychotherapy. I have a burning interest in the intersection of depression and domestic violence, especially because I work with both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. I have personal and professional expertise to work with persons who have issues around immigration (including uprootedness/disconnect, separation from home country, & family). I run small therapy groups exploring a variety of issues and problems. I lead Retreats, Seminars, and Workshops challenging persons to deeper psycho-spiritual experiences. I hold certifications in Pastoral Psychotherapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Spiritual Formation & Direction, Family Mediation, and Life Coaching. I am a Diplomate in the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress as well as the National Center for Crisis Management. I have attained Clinical Fellow status in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy as well as the designation of Approved Supervisor. I developed a process method for personal and group engagement called Re-Membering (applying depth psychological concepts to religious and social experience). I serve as an Adjunct Professor at Nyack University's Graduate School of Counseling teaching courses in the fields of Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. I have developed courses for the Doctor of Ministry degree program in Pastoral Counseling with the United Theological College of the West Indies.
