I am a Bronx native with roots from Puerto Rico and was born a Southern belle in South Caroline before moving to New York. I am a devoted mother of two and a life partner to my fiancee while being human in public. I was named one of Social Work Today’s Dedicated and Deserving Social Work award in 2019 and Advocate of New York City with NYC Mayor’s office in 2018. I hold professional memberships with the National Association of Social Workers NYC Chapter, National Association of Puerto Rican and Hispanic Social Workers, Psi Chi The International Honor Society of Psychology, and Aging Life Care Association.
