I am an experienced clinician working with adults. I work with persons interested in making changes, dealing with depression, anxiety and grief. I have a focus older adults and their families who need support and guidance.

I have been in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area for over 30+ years. Many persons know me through my community presentations, columns, or podcasts. I enjoy working with adults who are working through difficult life transitions and who need guidance and support. I use cognitive behavioral techniques to help them and educate them how they can change their thinking and feeling. I also have a specialty in working with older adults, families, and caregivers. Life transitions in this section of life require knowledge and training .I teach aging courses and I am a Positive Approach to Care Independent Certified Trainer. Finally, I am excited to be adding a focus on ageism into my expertise. I work with clients who are questioning themselves and are struggling with their own inner ageist messages. I want to help them identify and address this so they can go on to have fulfilling relationships, careers, and lives. These negative messages holding them back can be reframed. I teach and provide workshops and trainings. I see persons over HIPAA compliant telehealth and in an office setting.
