About me

I am a dedicated and experienced psychotherapist dedicated to helping teens and adults cope with anxiety, depression, and issues maneuvering through life’s hurdles.

Learning why we think, feel, and act the way we do is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. From there, we gain the ability to adjust, grow, connect, and show up in the world as our most authentic selves. In addition to the listed disorders I treat, I have experience working with, relationship issues, phase of life issues, anxiety, depression and eating disorders.

Working primarily from an acceptance and commitment therapy framework, I emphasize mindfulness, learning how to hold pain, and building a rich and meaningful life. I have strong training in dialectical behavior therapy for emotion dysregulation, and eating disorders. I also offer exposure therapy where necessary, accepted and prudent to growth and healing.

I am generally laid back and have been known to bring humor into sessions. In addition, you will find my Affenpinscher Zoe by my side, and yours if you wish. Zoe is a certified therapy dog and emotional support animal. Zoe brings a sense of calm and peace to sessions as well as offers pertinent information through her body language that proves valuable within treatment.

I encourage those who have thought about therapy to do so, it can afford opportunities to live a more wholesome peaceful life and improve overall health and cognition.
