About me
When you're experiencing a challenging time in your life, time may feel as though it is standing still. Sometimes, there simply are no "right or wrong" answers, but solutions may be closer in reach than you think. My goal is to help you navigate through challenges that make you feel powerless. I hope to help you discover meaning and your own unique center of gravity that will positively change the way you view yourself, others, and the world.
I view therapy is an opportunity to engage in open discussion using a nonjudgmental and solution-driven approach. I use cognitive behavioral, relational, and strengths-based approaches to help challenge negative thought patterns and instill confidence with the goal of improving self-esteem and the strength and value of interpersonal relationships.
I work largely with individuals who are struggling with mood- or anxiety-related symptoms. Treatment sessions are uniquely tailored to each clients' clinical profile and treatment goals. Together, we work to identify and address the presenting issues and collaborate to create a treatment plan that slowly helps sustain improvement.
I am confident that, if you choose to begin this process, we can work together to achieve your short- and long-term goals.
