About me
My name is Gabriel Arroyo and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My desire to become a therapist began at the age of 10. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and was faced with learning how to cope with this significant change in my life. This experience allowed me to learn coping skills and strategies to overcome the road bumps that we experience in life and provided me with a passion of providing the same knowledge to others.
I have 12+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families with various challenges. My top 2 specialties focus on couples counseling and coping with chronic illness. My approach is to work with my clients in a collaborative relationship to build on the strengths that naturally exist. Within these strengths, we will learn additional skills of communication, coping, and unity to build up the relationship as a family.
My belief is that every individual deserves their idea of happiness and fulfillment and I would like to provide my expertise and knowledge on how to overcome any obstacles that may come in our way.
