Erin Tarkington is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) who specializes in strengthening couple and family relationships. No conflict, distance, or disconnect is too great for us to tackle together!

Erin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with dual bachelor's of science degrees in Human Communication (BS) and Family and Human Development (BS). Erin continued her graduate level education at Arizona State University, earning her Master's of Advanced Study in Marriage and Family Therapy degree. Erin plans to continue her education on a doctoral level in the near future, continuing her passion for working with couple and family relationships to strengthen their communication skills, conflict resolution skills, intimacy and connection, as well as support couple's and families in processing and overcoming attachment injuries and painful regrettable incidents. Through emphasizing a positive culture of emotions, a warm and comfortable environment, and holding space for all thoughts, feelings, and reflections, without judgment, Erin hopes to help couples and families make small, but significant shifts in action and reaction in order to create a more positive and sustainable pattern of interaction where partners and family members feel safe, heard, and understood. In session with Erin, you will be met with curiosity, balance, autonomy, support, and reflection.

When Erin is not in the therapy room, she daytimes as an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant at Southwest Human Development. Erin is grateful to balance her passions for strengthening early childhood (ages 0-5) relationships with their caregivers in tangent with her passion for working with escalated or distressed couple relationships. These two passions excitedly bridge during family therapy work.

Erin enjoys spending her free time at the theater, performing in musicals, and directing and choreographing youth musical theatre productions. Erin's background in the arts has created an authentic and vulnerable being who is prepared to show up for you each and every day in session.
