About me
I am a Resident in Counseling working to help clients age 16+ with anxiety, depression, ADHD, body-focused repetitive behaviors, identity development, and childhood trauma healing. I especially enjoy working with the military connected community.
I believe that we all have a core self inside of us that is capable of healing and wisdom,
though often it takes discovery of what is covering that core self to find it. I use a client-
focused approach to therapy, working with the motivation and resources that are currently
available, and learning what changes are both helpful and achievable. My goal is to use
authenticity and acceptance to make clients feel comfortable and safe in a therapeutic
relationship.
I have worked with adults, teenagers, and adolescents with a variety of backgrounds,
challenges, and cultures. I am experienced in supporting clients struggling with anxiety, past traumatic experiences, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), depression, chronic illness, life transitions, parenting, ADHD, and substance abuse. Prior to entering the mental health field, I spent nearly 20 years working as a Federal contractor supporting military projects. I enjoy working with Veterans, military, military spouses, law enforcement, engineers, and young adults.
