I am an experienced trauma-focused clinical counselor, helping to light the path to emotional wellness for children & women.

I work with kids as young as 18 months as well as adult women. If you have a kid who has experienced something stressful – abuse, neglect, divorce, medical ailments, multiple moves, etc. – and is anxious, angry, sad, distrustful, clingy and more, I will work with your child and you to effectively deal with what has happened and decrease problematic behaviors, emotions, and thoughts. If you are an adult woman who has mild stress for whatever reason and you either want to alleviate that stress or just want someone outside your personal world to talk with, I will work with you to meet your goal.

I have extensive training in human development, brain development, stress, trauma treatment modalities (TFCBT, EMDR, CFTSI), and play therapy, but, at the end of the day, the therapeutic relationship is the key factor in determining success through therapy. Making people feel welcome and comfortable is important to me because you deserve that.

My goal at The Firefly Company is to provide compassionate, knowledge-based mental health services to women and children to facilitate emotional growth.
