I am a Counselor in Lakewood, Colorado. My goal is to help you not just get through life but live fulfilling and meaningful lives. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life, including adolescents, adults, and couples.
Therapy is not easy, and it can be challenging to explain your feelings and experiences to someone who doesn't know you well. I believe there are many different reasons we struggle with mental health issues or addiction. Therefore, my approach is tailored to your individual needs to work toward the best possible outcome in your life.
My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are and empower you to take the next step through goal setting and skill-building. I hope to help you push through fears and learn healthy ways to cope in your life. Regularly confiding in someone gives us a sense of security and peace of mind.
I have experience in counseling individuals as well as couples who deal with addictions (drugs, alcohol, sex), relationship issues, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and anger management. Life's journey is joyous at times and challenging at others. Through counseling, I believe every person is capable of achieving a fulfilling and meaningful life.
