About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois and nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with 10 + years of experience working with individuals with various ages, backgrounds, behaviors, personality types and disabilities.
I have a good knowledge on career development and the process of finding one’s career path. I have experience teaching parenting workshops. I am a licensed foster parent. I have fostered over 14 children and adopted 2 of them. I have taught and implemented a token economy reward system that helps parents avoid parenting traps and gets kids to want to work.
I enjoy working with children, teens and adults.
I am fond of using, but not limited to: Solution Focused Counseling, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Rational-Emotive Behavioral Counseling and Person-Centered Counseling.
