About me
It is a privilege to partner with individuals on their journey towards discovering the life and person they wish to be, and I welcome the opportunity to learn if I would be the right therapeutic companion for you.
I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I seek to bring a person-centered approach to the therapy space, supporting my clients in resourcing and accessing the internal tools needed to seek the life he/she/they desires.
Counseling is a third career for me. For years I felt misaligned with my values and core beliefs and ultimately realized that I could no longer live incongruently. This internal friction eventually pushed me to pursue a role supporting the growth and development of others. My experiences have allowed me to explore life’s transitions, episodes of uncertainty, periods of darkness and many moments of joy. Although these experiences provided support for me, we are never able to know the lens through which another views the world. I approach counseling with a person-centered orientation, seeking to learn your truth to support your growth. I am also drawn to existential theory, interested in exploring all the intricacies and complexities that come with being a human and existing in this world.
I have been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Through implementing a person-centered approach in the therapy space, I seek to support my clients in resourcing and accessing the internal tools needed to realize the life he/she/they desires. I happily work with all ages of clients and have experience supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, anger and frustration, grief, loss, despair, relationship challenges and many other mental health concerns.
