Elizabeth Chery, LCSW

Elizabeth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Elizabeth has her master’s degree in social work. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, addiction, relationship concerns, and other life experiences.

She believes that each person has their own story that has shaped what they are currently experiencing. Through her work, she strives to foster a safe space where clients can tell their story, gain insight into how that has impacted them, and create a new reality that is more fulfilling. Elizabeth purposefully incorporates multicultural concepts into each case, because she feels culture greatly influences how we interact with those around us and can help is to define our strengths. She truly believes that therapy is for everyone, but not every therapist is for every client: therefore, she encourages open communication regarding the process of therapy so clients can best overcome their obstacles. She utilizes various therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Elizabeth has been providing psychotherapy for over 5+ years in a variety of settings.
