Elizabeth Buckley Counseling has been an Licensed Professional Counselor for 18 years and specialized in anxiety, depression, relationship, divorce ,trauma, EMDR and anger management. Elizabeth has been an Registered Nurse for over 45 years and specializing in the family dynamics and issues. Elizabeth desires to help individuals keep their emotional health balanced. Elizabeth can assist you to build a mutually cooperative relationship by creating a accepting and safe environment. She can see pre-teens, teenagers, young adults, adults, families and couples.
Elizabeth believes life is a journey so we must learn to cope with the inevitable changed that come our way. To help the patient go through this process, Elizabeth will provide awareness and encouragement. Telehealth visits are available if desired. During counseling I will build a mutually cooperative relationship with you by creating a trustworthy, accepting and safe environment by using your personal experiences and strengths to bring about realistic outcomes.
I will provide individual, group counseling sessions and women's retreats services to people from 12 to 75 years. These sessions allow me to help clients deal with stress, traumatic life experiences, grief, relationship issues, divorce and separation. I have a Bachelors of Nursing and Masters of Education from Texas A &M University in Corpus Christi. Elizabeth has worked in hospitals, day surgery, public health, home health and school health. My longest employment was a school nurse for a rural school district from Pre-Kinder to 12th grade. Elizabeth started teaching in the school, was district school nurse, and was in charge of many community programs with families and young adults. I have provided counseling for Family Services, TAMUCC, and Bayview Hospital in Corpus Christi. I have a wide range of treatment modalities, including Solution- Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Trauma therapy and will tailor my approach that best fits your needs.
