Having taught, trained, supervised, and provided CBT and Applied Behavior Analysis services for over 35 years, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan who faced challenges of anxiety, depression, pain, and chronic pain.
My approach is informed by acceptance-based cognitive behavior therapy. Through collaborating with patients, I better understand how they feel and what they think. Values clarification identifes what they would like to accomplish, how they would like to live their life. Through supportive, caring interpersonal communication I work with patients to live a values-guided life.
