I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly 20 years of experience helping others understand their feelings, change unwanted behavior, repair relationships, and work through challenging situations.
A passion for helping others is what attracted me to the behavioral health field. My specialty areas include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, relational problems, anger, and difficulty coping with life’s stressors and challenges. I partner with my clients to identify situations, thoughts, behaviors, and feelings interfering with their overall wellness and contentment. Using an eclectic, integrative style of counseling, I selectively apply techniques from various approaches to best fit my clients' needs. I aim to provide a safe, therapeutic environment that fosters open self-expression and self-exploration. In addition, I aim to empower my clients with the ability to self-regulate, which with practice, helps to better navigate challenging situations as they arise.
Seeking professional counseling is a personal investment in yourself. One of my greatest rewards is being able to witness positive change in the lives of the people who entrust me with their well-being. I hope that through the work we do together, you’ll feel emotionally validated, liberated, and empowered.
