About me
I am an experienced Mental Health Professional, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and Human Services- Board Certified Practitioner who is dedicated to helping people overcome the trauma of violence, addiction, and the stigma of mental health. I trained in clinical assessments, treatment planning, psychoeducation, case management, crisis intervention, counseling, individual, family, and support group. I have experience working in shelters, hospital settings, and nonprofit agencies. I supervised and established programmatic standers that support culturally sensitive services for individuals experiencing distress.
I use different modalities to help my clients address their problems and challenges. My goal is to help clients to feel change is possible and realize the best steps to achieve goals. I provide them with support sessions and make them feel conformable talking about issues and adapting the process of acclimating to a new change and improving their well-being.
