Dr. Lindsay Howard, PsyD

I am an experienced clinical psychologist who is dedicated to helping adults. In my practice I specialize in the treatment of adults dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment to major life transitions, addiction, and relationship issues. These difficulties, along with life’s everyday stressors, can greatly impact your ability to enjoy life. Through therapy you will learn behavioral strategies and coping skills needed to achieve your goals, helping you to live a more fulfilled life. I meet people where they are at. WE will work together, as a team, to meet your goals.

Hi! My name is Lindsay Howard, and I am a clinical psychologist with an extensive background in the mental health field. I have been involved in conducting psychotherapy and psychological evaluations since 2007.

I am not your typical therapist:

-I engage my clients in dialogue (I do not sit there and say “hmm hmm.”)

-My clients describe me as warm, personable, and friendly.

-I am authentic, so my language at times can be as colorful and expressive as your own

My philosophy is to teach people the tools and skills they need so that they can move forward in life and no longer need my services.

And hey… if you’re going through a rough patch two years from now, call me. Gone are the days of Dr. Freud – where you are in therapy for the rest of your life. This is simply unrealistic to me.
