I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults through times of distress and transition. I am dedicated to collaboratively providing services that are trauma informed and responsive to each person's culture, context, and goals.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. If you are living in a season of emotional exhaustion, relational dissatisfaction, or confusion about the decisions that you face, counseling can be a transformative source of support. Because every person is unique, I partner with my clients to identify and implement strategies for healing and growth that are responsive to their distinct situation and strengths. We work together to not only address immediate sources of distress or difficulty, but also the core concerns, needs, and interpersonal patterns that drive them.

Drawing primarily upon Interpersonal, Experiential, and Mindfulness based approaches to therapy, I specialize in helping clients navigate the anxiety, depression, and traumatic stress that can accompany significant life transitions and identity related issues. Topics frequently explored within this work include mental and emotional exhaustion, life meaning, grief and loss, relational satisfaction, victimization, illness, spirituality, sexuality, and death. When working with children who are experiencing difficulties, I integrate strategies that support developmentally appropriate forms of communication, including play and trauma focused cognitive behavioral interventions. Whether working with an individual or entire family, I apply a systemic family lens that helps clients to make sense of their concerns in the context of their day-to-day life.

If you would like to learn more about the next steps for pursuing your personal and relational wellbeing, please contact our friendly administrative support staff. Our team can assist you in scheduling an appointment or help you to get in touch with me directly if you have additional questions.
