About me

I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is dedicated to helping individuals develop coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, and social emotional issues.

Hi, I am Dr. Tiffany Stephens, Owner of Brokenness Still Heals, LLC. I am licensed in the states of Virginia and North Carolina.

Do you feel life is out here taking a toll, that you are being pulled in a million directions, and that things are often snowballing? What about feeling like your children are all over the place and you often feel you are unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with daily tasks, struggling with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to maintain self-care and be kind to yourself?

I can work with you to learn to refocus on yourself, manage anxiety and avoid burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a strength-based approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I utilize a collaborative, solution-focused, constructivist school of thought. In addition, cognitive behavior therapy is used as the foundation to assist you in moving towards new ways of thinking. Accepting, identifying, and moving forward will be the ultimate goal.

Whether you're dealing with being overwhelmed, relationship issues, cycles of anxiety and depression, or grief, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary or even stigmatized, but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the negative mindsets and habits holding you back. Let's start this journey together!

I love working with individuals who are ready for the journey, whatever that may look like for them. Since I am working virtually, I work best with teens ages 13 years old and up and adults 18 to 65 and above.

Some of the tools I utilize in practice include:
Psychotherapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Client-Centered Therapy
Mindfulness
