About me
Greetings! My name is Dr. Daphney Rene and I am a New York and New Jersey State Licensed Clinical Social Worker , Human and Organizational Psychologist and NREMT. I received a BA in Psychology from The City College of New York, an MSW from The State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a PsyD from Touro University Worldwide. I have specialized training and research interest in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Psychosis, Depression, Anxiety, Anger Management, Trauma, Eating Disorders, ADHD, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have over 20 years of experience in mental health treatment.
I am a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS), Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist and Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist. My practice is currently 100% remote. I currently provide Individual, Couples, Family, and Group psychotherapy sessions to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and geriatrics. The treatment modalities that I currently utilize are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
