My innate gift is to help people. I obtained the necessary education, continuing education and training and experienced various opportunities to be a humble helper to those seeking services/treatment.

I believe an individual is the ultimate expert on their personal value and life purpose. Sometimes getting to know what that is, may need some assistance from an unbiased party. I am an active listener and I believe in finding the opportunities for improvement. I work collaboratively with you towards those goals.

My approach to counseling and therapy is eclectic. I have utilized Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person/Family-Centered, Strength-Based and Narrative Therapy modalities.

I firmly believe every person has the ability to be, "The Best Person They Want to Be." Sometimes, it takes stepping out and asking for assistance to get some help along the way.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed through the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA)/Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).

I have over two and a half decades of experience in Social Work, including direct services, policy, advocacy and clinical practice. I have worked on a variety of issues related to interpersonal relationships, personal growth and development, behavioral health and overcoming personal challenges and system barriers.
