About me
I am highly experienced in the mental health and substance use field. I specialize in working with adults, teenagers, children, and couples.
Do you feel like you are on the hamster wheel of life with no way to jump off? Whether it is with the stress of increased prices, family dynamics, children/ school IEPs, or substance use. Let me help you slow down the hamster wheel. My name is Doreen and I started my career working with Children and Families, then moved into the addiction field. I have worked both inpatient and outpatient facilities. I meet clients where they are at in a non judgmental way. I find the area of communication also important. As a lot of times a person might listen to respond not listen to understand. Learning these tools can change dynamics.
Couples: Relationship counseling, communication, co-dependency. Children: Behavior concerns; School such as IEPs/504s communicating with schools, Addiction: Relapse prevention, assistance entering into treatment if needed.
