Donna Degrasse, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, PHD learner
Verified clinicians have had their licenses confirmed by our staff at the time they create their profile. We also require all verified therapists keep their licensing information up to date in order to maintain verified status.
This therapist holds one or more specialty certifications, you can review their certification within the professional certifications section on their profile.
Send your prospective therapist a brief message about why you’re seeking support, your preference for in-person or telehealth services, and how you’d like to be contacted moving forward. Note: Answers to many common questions can be found on the therapist’s profile page. If this is an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
I am a licensed mental health counselor who specializes in clinical mental health and marriage and family therapy. I bring almost a decade’s worth of expertise, and my education and experience have prepared me to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and distinct personal histories.
I believe everyone is capable of change. I also believe in honoring a person’s past, personal experiences, and respecting an individuals belief in making meaning of their world. I specialize in treating children, adolescents, and adults, in conducting individual, group, family, and couples counseling. I also specialize in treating traumas, co-occurring disorders, and addictions. My specialized training at the doctorate level has prepared me to treat trauma, Substance-Related and Addictive disorders, and to conduct CBT, and motivational interviewing. I am in my final year of my PhD training in Counseling, Education, & Supervision at Capella University. I am currently co-teaching at the masters level and supervising masters level students in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program.
