About me
Diego Balin was born in Brazil and moved to the United States in 2010. He has had the opportunity to live in Boston, Massachusetts, and South Florida, before finally settling in the Nashville area. He has 15 combined years of experience working with children, teens, and parents as a caregiver, educator, and mentor, and is an RBT. His goal as a counselor is to help individuals to deal with the difficult challenges that life can bring by offering a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration.
Therapy can help relieve feelings of stress, stimulate creative thinking and exploration, regulate emotions, and foster self-acceptance and caring. Individual work can help you develop coping mechanisms to manage negative patterns and help you move towards greater satisfaction and genuine happiness.
His ideal client is someone looking to initiate positive changes in their life or anyone willing to try something new! All done in a safe, welcoming environment and always at your own pace. Diego is accepting and welcoming of any age, gender, background, profession, sexuality, and/or belief system. I am also a sex-positive counselor, and kink allied.
