Didem Serin, LMFT, CST, MA²

I hold two MA degrees in Mental Health Counseling and Couples Therapy, and a BA in Psychology. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in WA and a Certified Sex Therapist through AASECT. I enjoy working with relational clients and couples, as well as individual adults.

As a systems therapist, I consider the many contexts that make each person’s experience unique and tailor treatment approaches to my client’s needs. I center my work on reauthoring narratives and creating new meanings. If you are curious about the messages your emotions are sending and willing to uncover underlying patterns and explore new ways of connecting, I may be the therapist you are looking for. I specialize in strengthening relationships, intimacy, desire discrepancy, life transitions, parenting, attachment ruptures, multicultural relationships, identity formation and exploration, nonmonogamy, and differentiation.
I strive to provide social justice-oriented, trauma-informed, body- and sex-positive, LGBTQ+, kink, poly, and culturally affirming psychotherapy. I practice from a curiosity-based, person-centered, strengths-focused, and collaborative framework. I aim to cultivate a safe, nonjudgmental, nurturing, and empowering space where you feel held, heard, and understood.
