I love meeting different types of people—introverts, extroverts, emotional, cognitive—and offering specialized tools that genuinely work.

Hi, I'm Diane Cerven. LPCC, I became a licensed therapist in Minnesota, because I saw the pain around me and wanted to help those who weren’t being reached. I enrolled in a Master's program in Counseling and worked with people facing a variety of mental health challenges. Realizing I needed more specialized training, I pursued advanced education to better serve my clients.

I am trained in the Gottman Method (Level 2) and specialize in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). I also utilize person-centered therapy, ACT, DBT techniques, and coping/relaxation skills. All from a Christian perspective (respecting your personal beliefs, also.) Combing these trainings that I have utilize in my years of counseling, I will help you meet your specific goals.

If a particular approach isn’t effective, I’ll adjust or refer you to someone who might be a better fit. Your progress and joy are my top priorities. My specialties include conquering anxiety, addressing marriage disconnect, and providing Christian counseling in Minnesota. I also offer spiritual guidance and mentoring.
